Haiti - U-20 World Cup 2027 Qualifier : Our Grenadiers crush Anguilla's Rainbow Warriors [0-7]

On Thursday, February 26, 2026, as part of the CONCACAF U-20 Champions League qualifiers, which will determine the Nations qualified for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup, our Grenadiers, playing on the field of the Rinaldo Jean Francisca Stadium in Willemstad, Curaçao, humiliated the Rainbow Warriors of Anguilla [0-7].

Starting XI : Cuban coach Raul Gonzalez Triana has announced the starting lineup chosen to face the Rainbow Warriors of Anguilla. The coach has confidence in this starting eleven to lead Haiti to the World Cup finals.

Summary :

Our Grenadiers easily defeated the Rainbow Warriors of Anguilla and started this group stage in the best possible way.

Franco Célestin opened the scoring for Haiti in the 10th minute [0-1]. Will Armstrong Leconte, assisted by Franco Célestin, doubled the score in the 15th minute [0-2]. Despite dominating possession, our Grenadiers missed a few opportunities.

At halftime, the score remained unchanged [0-2] in favor of Haiti.

After the break, the Rainbow Warriors attempted a few attacks but never troubled our defenders.

Nikolai Pierre headed home Haiti's third goal in the 57th minute from a Medinel Zamor cross [0-3]. Pierre then headed home his second goal in the 70th minute from an Arthur Alcimé cross [0-4].

Franco Celestin scored his second goal in the 76th minute from an Emerson Laissé penalty [0-5].

Kervens Romulus Junior capitalized on a Rainbow Warriors goalkeeper error in the 84th minute to extend Haiti's lead [0-6].

In stoppage time, in the 90+3 minute, Clavens Exantus scored the final goal of the match [0-7].

With 7 goals scored and 0 conceded, the Grenadiers began the group stage with a resounding victory, confirming the team's positive attitude and momentum in these qualifiers.
